During a defensive struggle this weekend, the Broncos managed to secure a close victory over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix threw an early scoring strike and specialist Wil Lutz provided the game-winning decisive three-pointer to seal the hard-fought win.

Defensive Performance Seals Game

Despite registering nine sacks versus Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the third quarter. Interestingly, the Jets managed just 82 offensive yards during the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a critical 12-play, 65-yard possession that culminated in Lutz's 27-yard kick with approximately five minutes remaining.

Historic Struggles for Jets Offense

Despite their horrendous performance, the Jets maintained the ball with a opportunity to score a possible victory. However Fields was tackled on fourth down from the Denver 44 after head coach Aaron Glenn opted to go for it instead of sending out specialist Nick Folk for a long field-goal attempt.
